Brazil: Soccer and Futsal

Brazil, winner of five World Cups and host of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, is not only a great soccer destination, but a culturally rewarding experience, both on and off the field, for players and teams.

United Soccer Academy can provide youth clubs, ODP programs, and collegiate teams with the opportunity to experience the uniqueness of Brazilian soccer and the wonderful culture that Brazil has to offer. As with all United Soccer Academy soccer tours, each tour and program is customized for each specific team. Tours to Brazil can be coordinated during the winter, spring, or summer time periods.

"The trip to Brazil was awesome and was by far the best soccer trip that I been on as a player and coach. The experience was unbelievable, both in terms of soccer and culturally. Our players and staff will always remember this trip. It was an excellent trip in every area, it quite simply was perfect. The soccer and competition was excellent and the game versus Santos FC with three national team players was a highlight for all of us. Thank you for organizing a great soccer tour to Brazil." Diane Drake, Women’s Head Soccer Coach – George Mason University

FUTSAL

The popularity of futsal is growing in the United States. Futsal, FIFA's official indoor soccer game, which is essentially a scaled down version of outdoor soccer played indoors (5v5) is in a way more popular than soccer in Brazil. More players play futsal than soccer in Brazil. All the great Brazilian players from Pele, Zico, Socrates, Ronaldo, Ronaldino, and Robino, all grew up playing futsal and credit futsal for developing their skills.

Futsal is played year round in Brazil and United Soccer Academy can coordinate futsal only tours and or a combination of futsal and soccer tours to Brazil. Please contact United Soccer Academy to discuss tour options for Brazil and to receive an initial tour proposal and program.
