Programs & Tours: United States
United Soccer Academy has an inbound department specifically designed for teams and clubs from outside the United States wishing to travel and compete in the United States. For the past decade United Soccer Academy has been organizing programs for European and South American teams and clubs to visit and compete in the United States.
Tour options and possibilities are endless for a program, tour to the United States and are only limited to one’s imagination. Suggested programs and tournaments in United States that a customized tour can be based around are:
Florida
- December 27, 2008- January 3, 2009: Orange Classic (female) – Ft. Lauderdale
- December 27-30, 2008: Tampa Bay Sun Bowl (male)
- December 27, 2008: - January 3, 2009 Disney Soccer Showcase (male and female) - Orlando
- February 7-8, 2009: Florida Futsal Tournament (male and female) – Venice/Sarasota
- February 14-16, 2009: Weston Cup Soccer Tournament (male and female) – South Florida
- April 10-12, 2009: International Countryside Easter Tournament (male and female) – Tampa Bay
- July 14-19, 2009: Disney Cup International (male and female) – Orlando
Soccer tours to Florida can included tournament participation, as well as homestay programs, mini-tournaments, stay at Walt Disney World and visits to theme parks, a visit to Kennedy Space Center, to name a few.
East Coast
From Maryland, Virginia, Pennslyvania, New Jersey, New York, Conneticut, to Massachussets a tour can be coordinated to include participation in a tournament, friendly matches, mini-tournament, homestay program, and a sightseeing program to some of the United States most historic sites from Washington DC to New York City to Boston.

- July 11-12, 2009: Central Jersey Invitational (male and female) – New Jersey
- July 11-12, 2009: South Country Seaside Classic (male and female) – Rhode Island
Midwest
Schwan’s USA CUP, the largest international youth soccer tournament in North America, showcasing more than 1,000 teams from 22 countries and the United States at one location, the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota. Dates are July 21-25, 2009.
The USA Cup can be combine with a program to Chicago or St. Louis that could include friendly matches, a homestay program, and sightseeing excursions.
California, Nevada and Hawaii
California, considered by many to be the soccer hotbed of the United States is home to over 75 youth tournaments. From San Diego to Los Angeles to San Francisco, United Soccer Academy has the ability to coordinate a tour to the west coast of the United States, including tournaments and programs in Hawaii and Nevada.
Suggested tournaments:
- March 13-15, 2009: Las Vegas College Showcase (male and female) – Las Vegas, Nevada.
- July 2-5, 2009: Hawaii International Cup (male and female) – Honululu, Hawaii
- July 18-19, 2009: Slammers Futbol Classic (male and female) – Orange County
- July 25-27, 2009: Surf Cup (male) – San Diego
- August 1-3, 2009: Surf Cup (female) – San Diego
Programs to California, Nevada and Hawaii can include participation in 3-4 day soccer training programs at University of California (Berkeley) and University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA), sightseeing programs throughout California, homestay programs, friendly matches, and mini-tournaments.
All tours and programs to the United States include the United Soccer Academy’s commitment to a well organized and professional tour. All tours include an experienced United Soccer Academy tour manager to assist foreign teams and clubs with all aspects of the tour logistics.
